Welcome to Johnson’s Market & Butcher Shop.

We are so happy you are here!

459 US Rte. 1, York, Maine has been a butcher shop for the past 19 years and we are so excited to continue the tradition.

A little bit about us, Seafood and Meat are in our blood.

We have earned our expertise and experience the hard way; working for it!

From our humble beginnings on the Kittery docks unloading lobsters (30 plus years ago) to the hard knocks of running two successful restaurants to returning to our first love, opening our second Johnson’s Market and Butcher Shop. (Check us out in New Durham, NH too!)

We are so honored to once again be your one stop shop for fresh cut meats, the original marinated steak and chicken tips, seafood, boars head deli, prepared meals, bakery, grocery, coffee, craft beer and wine and so much more!

Please know our customers are considered our friends. We are here to answer your questions about a menu for your special occasion, how to grill that steak perfectly and how to pair your wine and beer and sides.

Also, we do offer catering for your special event, simply ask!
